About

Heiko Wolf became a professional photographer when he emigrated from Germany to South Africa in 1992. Here he established himself as a well-known nature photographer, whose images have been widely publicized in Southern Africa and Europe. His photography is mainly focusing on various aspects of travel photography: his landscapes, wildlife, interior, action and symbolic images have been published in 13 coffee-table books, numerous calendars and various magazines. More than 50 lodges, guesthouses and adventure operators from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Swaziland are currently among his clients. Heiko travels the region for more than 100 days per year and in the past years he has captured the most beautiful nature scenes in over 80 different National Parks and Nature Reserves. Taking photos is for Heiko not only a profession – it’s a passion that helps him express his admiration for the beauty and splendour of creation. Heiko enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge by offering photo courses amidst the very best of sceneries. Photo workshops are offered in the Timbavati, Sabie Sand, Namakwaland, Soutpansberg (all South Africa), Namibia, Matopos, Victoria Falls (both Zimbabwe) and Chobe (Botswana), where clients are treated to an educational and enlightening photographic experience.
